Linnet Corner is located at 2000 Lakehurst Circle and is a senior housing community for people aged 62 and older. Live in a studio or one-bedroom apartment in a highly desirable location in the City of Alameda, which is within walking distance to public transportation, grocery, retail, parks, local employers, and schools. Linnet Corner is expected to open in September 2025.
23 studio apartments are available to the general public via the lottery system. The application period for Linnet Corner will start on April 4th, 2025 at 11am and will close on April 18th, 2025 at 11am. The lottery will be held via the Alameda County Housing Portal, please visit this webpage again soon for the application link. Preference points are provided for those who live or work in the City of Alameda.
Sixteen total units (10 studio apartments and 6 one-bedroom apartments) are available for unhoused disabled veterans (of any discharge status). These sixteen units will be filled via referrals from Alameda County’s Coordinated Entry System. Please call 211 to register into Alameda County’s Coordinated Entry System. Property amenities include onsite laundry, community room, secure bicycle parking on each floor, elevator, pet friendly, Wi-Fi Hotspot, resident services, onsite manager, onsite case management, and central outdoor courtyard with BBQ area. Plus, each Head of Household will receive one transit pass. All studio apartments have a full kitchen and bathroom.
