drop-in hours are on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9:00 am at Centro Legal de la Raza, 3022

Free legal services to low-income Alameda tenants funded by the City of Alameda. Provides
legal assistance to seniors 60 and older. Offering in-person services at the Mastick Senior Center
on the third Monday of the month from 1 PM- 2 PM.

Alameda County Bar Association, Lawyer Referral Service & Volunteer Legal Service
The Alameda County Bar Association offers lawyer referrals in Alameda County and is
regulated and certified by the State Bar of California. For a $35 fee, ACBA will match you with
an attorney qualified to help you with your legal issue for up to a 30 minute consultation.

Housing Equality Law Project (HELP)
HELP represents individuals who face discrimination in housing based on their race, sex,
religion, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, familial status, age,

LawHelpCalifornia.org provides easy online access to basic legal resources and attorney
information. They do not provide direct legal services. LawHelpCalifornia.org is a collaborative
project with policy oversight from the CalJjustice Advisory Committee and assistance from
advocates at legal aid programs throughout the state.


Lawyers in the Library Program
Hosts volunteer attorneys who provide free consultation and referrals on a wide variety of issues.
Unlike many volunteer legal service programs, patrons need not meet specific income eligibility
requirements.

Release of Information Form

To request the release of information regarding a tenant, applicant, or participant in one of the subsidized programs managed by The Housing Authority of the City of Alameda, please access the following form;


The Housing Authority of the City of Alameda’s main office (at 701 Atlantic Avenue) will be open from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm, from July 1st through July 3rd, and will be closed all day on Independence Day (July 4th) and closed to the public all day on July 5th (per our regular schedule).
