Free Art Sessions for AHA Youth

On the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of every month, Drawbridge.org provides art and crafts activities for AHA youth (ages 5-12) in the courtyard at Esperanza Housing Community (1903 Third Street). Free water, fruit, and snacks are provided (courtesy of Alameda Food Bank).

Workshop for Voucher Holders Searching for Housing

AHA hosts a monthly workshop on the third Thursday of every month at 10am. The workshop length is one hour and is designed to assist households (that have a housing voucher with the Housing Authority of the City of Alameda) conduct a housing search in the City of Alameda.   The meeting is hosted inside the community room at Independence Plaza (703 Atlantic Avenue).

On the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of every month, the City of Alameda Recreation and Parks department provides afterschool recreation activities for AHA youth (ages 5-18) in the courtyard at Esperanza Housing Community (1903 Third Street).

Office Hours for Landlords

AHA hosts a monthly Landlord Portal training on the last Wednesday of every month at 2pm.  The goal of the Office Hours are to discuss any items related to abatements, landlord portal, rent change notices, inspection results, tenant issues.
