RENT PAYMENT REMINDERS

Monthly rent must be paid by the 5th of each month.

Monthly rent payments are considered late on the 6th of the month and a late fee of up to $50 will be applied to any late rent payment.

Review your ledger and payment history.

Your financial ledger and payment history can be reviewed at

www.rentcafe.com. Contact your FPI property manager to create your account on www.rentcafe.com.

Residents can pay rent by personal check and by money order.

Residents can place payment in the drop-box at the property where their FPI manager works. Residents are advised to request a receipt of rent payment.

Other rent payment options include:

1) Direct auto-payment from your checking account at www.rentcafe.com. See your FPI property manager to setup automatic payments. There is no fee.

2) Residents can pay via credit card at www.rentcafe.com. See your FPI property manager to process a credit card payment. There is a fee for this service.

3) Residents can split up the monthly rent payment into two separate payments during the month by using www.getflex.com. Please note this is a third-party service and the Housing Authority nor FPI Management offer no guarantee of this service.

Recertifications

Property management is responsible for completing annual income certifications. This is separate from the income certification that is completed by the assigned AHA Housing Specialist.

LifeSTEPS staff can connect AHA residents and program participants to important social services and resources including the Alameda Food Bank, Medical Services, Rental Assistance, Transportation, Recreation and Trade School Scholarships, just to name a few.

The Housing Authority of the City of Alameda has opened the housing wait list for Linnet Corner.  To apply, please visit www.linnetcorner.com.   Linnet Corner is a housing community for individuals ages 62 and older.  23 studio apartments will be available to the general public via a lottery.   The application period for Linnet Corner will close on April 18th, 2025 at 11am.

La Autoridad de Vivienda de la Ciudad de Alameda ha abierto la lista de espera de vivienda para Linnet Corner. Para postularse, visite www.linnetcorner.com. Linnet Corner es una comunidad de viviendas para personas de 62 años o más. Habrá 23 apartamentos tipo estudio disponibles para el público en general a través de una lotería. El período de solicitud para Linnet Corner cerrará el 18 de abril de 2025 a las 11 a. m.
