HOUSING PROGRAMS SUPERVISOR

Salary Range 33: $8,111 - $9,859/month



AHA is opening a recruitment for a Housing Programs Supervisor in the Housing Programs Department. This position supervises the activities of AHA staff engaged in the provision of housing assistance, including oversight of functions such as eligibility, inspections, new leases, reexaminations, and terminations. Incumbents may assist the Director in departmental and/or strategic planning and budgeting, along with development of policies and procedures. Please refer to the job description for the complete range of duties required of this position.

INFORMAL HEARING OFFICER

     
     
AHA is conducting ongoing, continuous recruitment for one or more Informal Hearing Officers to preside over informal hearings held in connection with the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher and the Project-Based Voucher programs. COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER

Salary Range 42: $10,099 - $12,276/month


The Housing Authority is seeking its first Communications Manager. This newly-created position will develop and manage the Agency’s communications and public information activities and services, and will have the opportunity to perform meaningful and impactful work for an agency dedicated to providing affordable housing in the most impacted region of the nation.

     
The position is open until filled; applications received by January 6, 2020 at 5:00 PM will be included in the first round of review. All applications must be submitted online using the AHA application form.

RENT PROGRAM SPECIALIST

Salary Range 18: $34.61 - $42.07/hour



AHA is opening a recruitment for a Rent Program Specialist to perform a variety of complex work assignments related to the Housing Authority’s provision of the Alameda Rent Program, including functions encompassing all facets of rent regulations in Alameda, such as conducting outreach activities, creating program procedures and forms, answering public inquiries and giving public presentations. This is a non-exempt position, and some evening work is required. Please refer to the job description for the complete range of duties required of this position.

FACILITIES SUPERVISOR

Salary Range 33: $8,111 - $9,859/month



AHA is currently recruiting for a Facilities Supervisor. The Facilities Supervisor oversees the full range of facilities maintenance duties required to ensure that Housing Authority infrastructure, systems, and facilities are maintained in a safe and effective working condition.
