The Wait Lists are all closed
(updated October 14, 2016)

On June 22, 2016 the Housing Authority of the City of Alameda opened 7 Site-Based wait lists. Applications were taken on line from June 22, 2016 at 10:00 a.m., PST through June 27, 2016 at 9:59 a.m., PST.

We have completed the waitlist random lottery selection process and posted the application results. If you submitted an application during that period and are waiting for the results, please go to www.waitlistcheck.com and check your status. In order to check you status you must do the following:

*  Login using your username and password. (User ID is either your E-mail Address, Phone Number, or Year of birth).

*  If you forgot your password or social security there is a place on the website for you to reset your information by answering some security questions.

*  Go to applications and enter your search information and press the search button

If you receive an ACTIVE status message, this means you were selected in the random selection process, and your name will be placed on the specific waitlist you applied for. There is no need to contact the Housing Authority at this time. We will contact you when your name comes to the top of the wait list and for future vacancies.

If you receive an INACTIVE status message, this means you were not selected in the random selection process, and will need to reapply when the Housing Authority opens our waitlist in the future

Please note: If you were not selected in this process, please do not contact the Agency as staff are not able to make any changes to the outcome of the random selection process.

If our office sends mail to an applicant that is returned by the Post office, or if you fail to report any changes that would affect your wait list status, your name may be terminated from the waiting list.
