AHA is opening recruitment for an Assistant Resident Manager. The Assistant Resident Manager assists in property management, including supporting the Resident Manager with leasing. The Assistant Resident Manager is also responsible for maintaining weekly and monthly reports including accurate reporting of rents and deposits received, participating at Food Bank distribution and attending monthly social services meetings. The current opening is at Independence Plaza, a senior property.

Salary Range 33: $8,621 - $10,480/month


AHA will soon be opening a recruitment for a Housing Programs Supervisor in the Housing Programs Department. This position supervises the activities of AHA staff engaged in the provision of housing assistance, including oversight of functions such as eligibility, inspections, new leases, reexaminations, and terminations. Incumbents may assist the Director in departmental and/or strategic planning and budgeting, along with development of policies and procedures. The Housing Authority is seeking a team-oriented candidate to oversee projects and initiatives in support of the Alameda Housing Authority (AHA)’s affordable housing developments.  This may include rehabilitation of properties, re-use and updating of Authority facilities, and administration of financing/funding for projects that are funded through a variety of private, federal, state and local sources.
