Alameda Affordable Housing Trust Fund

In July of 2021, the Affordable Housing Corporation, with the partnership of the Housing Authority of the City of Alameda, passed and approved resolution 2021-05 establishing and funding the Alameda Affordable Housing Trust Fund (AHTF). A local Housing Trust Fund (HTF) is a program that dedicates funds for affordable housing construction.  The AHTF was established with a $7,500,000 grant from the Housing Authority and will increase over time with repayments, ongoing funds from the Housing Authority and grants from other local public and private funds, if available.
